Nigeria's pursuit of titles at the 2026 ITTF Africa Youth Championships is at a critical juncture as the U-15 girls, U-19 boys, and U-19 girls teams aim for finals spots on Wednesday at the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra, Ghana. The Nigerian teams have shown strong performances, leading to semi-final matchups against formidable opponents.

In the U-15 girls' semi-final, Nigeria will face top seeds Egypt, while defending champions Algeria will compete against Tunisia. The U-19 boys reached the semi-finals with a decisive 3-0 victory over hosts Ghana, highlighted by Quadri Atunwon's remarkable comeback win against Israel Aklie, overcoming a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2.

Matthew Fabunmi and Sultan Agunbiade secured the tie with straight games victories. Nigeria's U-19 girls will take on Algeria, while Egypt will face Uganda in the other semi-final.
