ADC Criticizes APC for Ignoring Nigeria's Crises

Bolaji Abdullahi, the Public Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed concerns during an interview on Channel Television regarding the state of Nigeria. He accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of being preoccupied with the 2027 general elections instead of addressing pressing national issues.

Abdullahi lamented the rise in insecurity and hardship, stating that Nigeria is "sinking on a daily basis." He highlighted a report indicating that 17 million Nigerians are starving, questioning the silence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on this critical issue. Abdullahi criticized the government's lack of action on problems such as kidnapping, insecurity, and hunger, asserting that the APC's focus on the upcoming elections distracts from the urgent need to solve these challenges.

He emphasized that the ADC is committed to providing an alternative to the current leadership, which he believes is failing to address the needs of the populace.
