Nigeria and Switzerland Begin Talks on Artifact Return and Cultural Partnerships

Nigeria and Switzerland have initiated discussions on the return of artifacts and enhancing cultural partnerships during a courtesy visit by the Swiss Ambassador to Nigeria, Patrick Felix Egloff, to the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa in Abuja. The Swiss Ambassador expressed Switzerland's readiness to deepen cultural diplomacy through bilateral agreements, emphasizing the importance of returning artifacts to Nigeria for cultural identity.

Minister Musawa thanked the Swiss government for their efforts, highlighting the significance of the artifact return in strengthening cultural relations and fostering broader cooperation. Both parties agreed to sustain dialogue and explore opportunities for collaboration in various cultural fields.
