Nigeria and Angola Sign Agreements on Drug Fight and Cultural Exchange

Nigeria and Angola have signed agreements to combat illicit drug production and enhance cultural exchange. The deal, signed during the 5th Session of the Bilateral Economic Joint Commission in Luanda, includes cooperation on fighting narcotic drugs and fostering cultural ties.

The Nigerian government facilitated twinning agreements between Bayelsa State and Namibe province, as well as economic cooperation between Nasarawa State and Bengo province. The agreement was signed by Nigerian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca, and Angolan Secretary of State for International Cooperation, Amb Domingos Lopes.

This collaboration aims to strengthen relations and tackle drug-related challenges in the region.
