Nigeria to Host 10th Africa Energy Summit in 2026

Nigeria is set to host the 10th Session of the Africa Energy Summit in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from November 26 to 28, 2026. This event, organized by the Solewant Energy Training Institute (SETI), a subsidiary of the Solewant Group, will gather policymakers, energy executives, financiers, and innovators.

The Summit has evolved into a significant platform for discussing energy security, industrial capacity, and innovation across Africa. The theme for this year, ‘Scaling Innovative Industrial Capacity for Africa’s Energy Security,’ emphasizes the need for Africa to enhance its productive capabilities.

This direction follows the conclusions of the 9th Africa Energy Summit held in November 2025, which highlighted the importance of technology readiness, local content, and accessible financing for Africa's energy future. Delegates at the previous summit called for the integration of advanced technologies and stronger partnerships among government, industry, and academia to improve competitiveness and energy security.
