Nigeria Hosts Gambian Delegation for Civil Service Reform

The Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation in Nigeria will host a high-level delegation from the Republic of Gambia, led by Mr. Alieu Njie, the Head of Civil Service, for a strategic study visit scheduled from June 20 to June 24, 2026.

This visit, under the leadership of Mr. Didi Esther Walson Jack OON MNI, aims to strengthen cooperation between the Nigerian and Gambian civil services through peer learning and exchange of reform experiences and practices.

The delegation will engage with relevant federal ministries, departments, and agencies, including the Public Service Institute of Nigeria and the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria. The initiative is designed to provide an opportunity for both countries to share lessons learned in public service reform, improve service delivery, and enhance institutional capacity.

The visit reflects a commitment to reinforcing the importance of African countries drawing on reform experiences to improve governance and deliver better services to citizens. Mr.
