Nigeria Leads Grenada Citizenship Applications in Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Nigeria topped the list of countries applying for Grenadian citizenship, with 16 applications, according to data from the Investment Migration Agency (IMA). This figure represents the largest share of applications from any country, followed by China with 12 applications and Iraq with 9.

The total number of applications received by Grenada during this period was 128, with 161 applications processed, resulting in 154 approvals and seven denials. The agency reported that 99 new citizens were granted Grenadian citizenship in Q4 2025, bringing the year-to-date total to 1,124 under the citizenship by investment (CBI) program.

Grenada's CBI program allows foreign nationals to obtain citizenship through approved investments, including contributions to the National Transformation Fund and real estate projects. Grenadian passport holders enjoy visa-free access to 140 countries, including the Schengen Area and the United Kingdom.

Applicants must meet specific criteria to obtain citizenship, with the approval process taking between 90 to 120 days.
