Nigeria Calls for End to Houthi-Yemen Conflict

Nigeria has renewed its call for an immediate end to the ongoing conflict involving the Houthi militia in Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, signed by Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, the acting Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the federal government condemned the hostilities and reported attacks.

Nigeria expressed deep concern regarding the escalating humanitarian crisis and the potential for further violence. The government urged all involved parties to cease hostilities and focus on peaceful negotiations.

Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to resolving conflicts through diplomacy, adherence to international law, and the principles outlined in the United Nations Charter.
