Nigerian Air Force Showcases Operational Strength and Unity at Lagos BASA Event

The Nigerian Air Force recently highlighted its operational strength and unity at the Lagos Base Defense Base Service (BASA) event. Senior military leaders converged at the Lagos headquarters of the Logistics Command base for the annual traditional event, marking the conclusion of a year of operational training.

The event featured awards for outstanding personnel, cultural exhibits, traditional cuisine, attire displays, cultural performances, and novelty games. The lowering of the national flag signaled the end of the year's activities.

Rear Admiral Abubakar Mustapha described the Air Force as a critical pillar in the nation's security efforts, emphasizing its growing impact in joint operations with other security agencies. Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Suleh, the Commandant of the Logistics Command, highlighted the significant milestones achieved by the command in strengthening logistical support for ongoing operations and maintaining strong community relationships.
