Nigerian Government Orders Drug Tests for Federal Job Applicants

The Nigerian government has announced mandatory pre-employment drug testing for all federal public service job applicants as part of efforts to combat the increasing drug abuse problem affecting national security. The directive, issued by the Secretariat of the Government of the Federation (OSGF), requires ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) to incorporate drug screening in their recruitment processes.
