Nigeria's Athletes Undergo Tough Anti-Doping Checks at Tokyo World Championships

Nigerian athletes face stringent anti-doping measures at the World Championships in Tokyo, as per the Athletics Integrity Unit. Nigeria is among five nations placed in Category A, requiring heightened testing protocols for athletes.

The AIU has conducted 650 tests so far, with an additional 550 ongoing during the championship. Athletes must meet the toughest testing standards, including blood modules and biological passport examinations.

Nigeria's team includes renowned athletes like Tobi Amusan and Ese Brume, who are subject to rigorous testing to ensure compliance with anti-doping regulations.
