Mustapha Ogunbenro Leaves ABS FC for Ayema FC in Benin
ABS FC has officially announced the departure of forward Mustapha Ogunbenro from the club. Ogunbenro has signed with Beninoise club Ayema FC after spending two seasons with the Ilorin-based ABS FC.
During his time at ABS FC, he emerged as one of the standout performers, significantly contributing to the club's efforts to avoid relegation in the last campaign. His transfer to Ayema FC represents a new chapter in his career, as he prepares to experience top-flight football outside Nigeria for the first time.
Ogunbenro aims to quickly establish himself in the Benin Republic and maintain the impressive form that made him a fan favorite during his tenure in Ilorin.
