Oyo APC Leaders Assure No Aspirant Left Behind

Oyo APC chieftains Olufemi Lanlehin and Prof. Taore Adedoja assured party members that no aggrieved aspirant would be overlooked in ongoing reconciliation efforts.

During a speech at the APC Secretariat in Ibadan, they emphasized the need for goodwill and wisdom to resolve grievances stemming from recent congress primaries. Chief Mose Adeyemo, the state chairman, urged committee members to ensure that the party remains united and capable of winning the upcoming 2027 elections.

The reconciliation committee, inaugurated on Wednesday, includes prominent members such as Senator Brimo Yusuf and Hon. Niran Alarap.

Additionally, party members from Oluyole Local Government Area protested, urging the leadership to affirm Abiodun Gbolagad as the winner of the recent primary election for the Oluyole Federal Constituency. They claimed Gbolagad won by 2,000 votes against incumbent Hon.

Tolulop Akand, who received only 36 votes. The Oyo APC reiterated that the list of candidates for the 2027 elections remains unchanged.
