Halima Abubakar Converts to Christianity After Illness

Halima Abubakar, a Nollywood actress, announced her conversion from Islam to Christianity after enduring a mysterious illness for nearly nine years. She made this announcement on her Instagram page, stating that she experienced a miraculous healing through the prayers of Apostle Queen Belemzi, whom she credited for her recovery.

Abubakar shared her testimony during a Holy Ghost revival program held at Merit House in Maitama, Abuja, on July 4. She detailed her struggles with the illness, which had taken a significant toll on her finances and health.

Earlier in the year, she had disclosed her challenges, including issues with her landlord regarding her tenancy. Following her conversion announcement, Abubakar received significant online reactions from fans and colleagues, who expressed their support and congratulated her on this new chapter in her life.
