Northwest University Sokoto Sets Cut-Off Marks for 2026/2027

Northwest University Sokoto has officially announced the cut-off marks for its 2026/2027 academic session undergraduate admissions. The announcement was made by the Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Abdullah El Kureb.

The university's admission unit has set a minimum score of 150 for candidates applying to a wide range of courses across sciences, social sciences, management, education, and health-related programs. However, due to the competitive nature of certain programs, higher cut-off marks have been established.

For instance, the cut-off mark for medicine and surgery is set at 200, making it the highest among the programs offered. Other health-related programs, including medical laboratory science, nursing science, physiotherapy, public health, and radiography, have a cut-off mark of 160.

Programs such as accounting, biology, business administration, computer science, cybersecurity, economics, information technology, library information science, psychology, public administration, sociology, software engineering, and special education have a cut-off mark of 150. Prospective candidates are advised to check the specific requirements for their chosen courses.
