Elijah Akanni Joins Barau FC on One-Year Deal

Elijah Akanni has completed a move to Barau FC on a one-year deal, joining the Kano-based club in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Akanni, a midfielder, previously featured for Katsina United and Enyimba, where he won the NPFL title during the 2022-23 season.

Over three years with Enyimba, he made 62 appearances, scoring six goals and contributing to the team's success as a nine-time NPFL champion. His experience is expected to be vital for Barau FC as they prepare for the upcoming NPFL season.
