NPFL Partners with MBI for Enhanced Broadcast Coverage

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has officially entered into a new broadcast agreement with Murphy Ben International (MBI) ahead of the 2026/27 season. The partnership was unveiled at a signing ceremony and aims to deliver NPFL matches directly to fans via mobile phones, televisions, laptops, and other internet-enabled devices.

Gbenga Elegbeleye, chairman of the NPFL board, stated that this initiative would eliminate excuses for not watching matches. MBI will leverage its digital and technical expertise to enhance the production and distribution capabilities of the NPFL, focusing on storytelling related to the league.

The agreement followed extensive discussions between the two organizations, including meetings in Abuja and a visit to MBI’s headquarters in Lagos. Mr. Murphy Anawana, chairman of MBI, described the partnership as a chance to showcase the domestic league to a global audience.

Under this arrangement, some NPFL matches will feature live coverage and delayed broadcasts on the official YouTube channel.
