NSC and PUMA Strengthen Partnership for Team Nigeria

The National Sports Commission (NSC) is set to enhance its partnership with sportswear company PUMA after Team Nigeria's commendable performance at the ongoing 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. During a media briefing at Team Nigeria PUMA Afrobeat House in Glasgow, NSC's Director General, Hon.

Bukola Olopade, stated that the collaboration with PUMA as the official kit sponsor has been positive and progressive. He noted that the pre-tournament preparations for Team Nigeria athletes were significantly supported by PUMA.

Olopade highlighted the NSC's commitment to creating a sports ecosystem as mandated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. He acknowledged the past contributions of previous NSC Directors General in establishing a legacy of athlete welfare, which has been evident in the smooth operations during the Glasgow Games.

The NSC has ensured timely payment of allowances and rewards for athletes, marking the beginning of further advancements ahead of the Olympic Games.
