The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), under the leadership of FCT Commandant Dr Olusola Odumosu, launched a fitness exercise at the command headquarters in Abuja. This initiative aims to prepare officers for security duties related to the upcoming 2027 elections.
Dr Odumosu emphasized the importance of regular physical training for enhancing personnel's physical and mental fitness, which is crucial for effectively responding to security threats and safeguarding lives and property. The exercise included a march through various locations such as Berger, Wuye/Finance Bridge, Zone 3, and Wuse Market, with participation from personnel across the command headquarters, area commands, and divisional offices.
