NSITF and RMA South Africa Form Strategic Alliance

The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) hosted a high-level delegation from RMA South Africa, led by Group Chief Executive Bilal Adam, at its headquarters in Abuja. NSITF's Managing Director, Oluwaseun Faley, emphasized the importance of the collaboration between the two organizations to strengthen Africa's social protection framework.

The meeting was described as the beginning of a strategic partnership between two leading social insurance institutions. Faley noted that the partnership could transform worker compensation and occupational injury insurance administration in Nigeria.

He highlighted the need for continuous improvement in social insurance systems to address emerging workplace challenges. The NSITF aims to ensure that Nigerian workers receive timely and adequate compensation for workplace injuries, occupational diseases, and related issues.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) is to be drafted and presented for ratification and signing by the NSITF management board during the visit, marking a new chapter in cooperation between NSITF and RMA South Africa.
