Obaseki's Cousin Hires Femi Falana for Legal Action in Benin Harassment Case

Dr. Pedro Obaseki, cousin of former Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, has hired human rights lawyer Femi Falana to seek legal redress after a harassment incident in Benin on December 28.

The incident involved thugs seizing and assaulting individuals, including making them kneel at the Oba of Benin Palace gate. Obaseki emphasized that the legal action is aimed at holding the perpetrators accountable.

The Oba of Benin Palace has denied involvement in the incident. Femi Falana will lead the legal proceedings to pursue civil and criminal actions.
