Solomon Adeola Mourns Veteran Actor Taiwo Hassan's Death

Solomon Adeola, the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate for Ogun State and Senator representing Ogun West, expressed profound sadness over the death of veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who died after a battle with cancer. In a condolence message signed by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Adeola referred to Hassan's death as “a monumental loss to the creative and entertainment industry.” He emphasized that the loss affected not only Hassan's family but also Ogun State and Nigeria.

Adeola praised the actor's contributions to society through filmmaking and advocacy, promising continued support for Hassan's family. The news of Ogogo's death was confirmed by Seun Oloketuyi, founder of Best of Nollywood, on social media.

Ogogo's daughters, Kaira and Lima Taiwo, had recently sought medical assistance for their father, who was diagnosed with stage-four cancer. Fellow actor Saheed Balogun also mourned Ogogo, expressing his condolences on Instagram.
