Ogun APC Ready for 2027 Elections, Says Dapo Abiodun

On Thursday, Governor Dapo Abiodun declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State is fully prepared for the 2027 general elections during a mega rally at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode. The event, attended by thousands of supporters from all 20 local government areas, aimed to bolster support for the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, known as Yayi.

Abiodun emphasized the massive turnout as evidence of the APC's strength and unity, highlighting the grassroots structure established over his seven years in office. He praised the peaceful conduct of party activities and the emergence of Adeola as a significant political development.

Abiodun expressed confidence in Adeola's leadership capabilities and urged party members to enhance grassroots mobilization. Adeola, in his address, referred to Abiodun as a “silent achiever” and committed to continuing the current administration's development trajectory.

He dismissed any claims of collaboration with opposition parties and affirmed the APC's preparedness for the elections.
