Ogun State Threatens Demolition of Mosque in Ibara Housing Estate Over Unauthorized Use

The Ogun State Government has issued a notice to quit to the management of the Ibara Housing Estate Mosque in Abeokuta, threatening to demolish the 25-year-old structure within seven days. The government accuses the mosque of converting from residential to public use without permission.

The mosque's management has been directed to vacate the premises and submit relevant documents within 24 hours to avoid demolition. Failure to comply may result in the demolition of the property.
