Ogun State Seals Five Chinese Companies for Assaulting Government Officials

Ogun State Government sealed five Chinese companies for assaulting government officials and inflicting bodily harm. The companies, including DL Plastics Limited and SH Agricultural Limited, operate in the Ogere axis of the Expressway.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Environment, Hon Abayomi Hunye, stated that the companies mobilized and assaulted law enforcement officers and government officials. The sealing was a result of serious environmental infractions such as improper waste disposal and burning, causing harm to the environment.

Despite several invitations and warnings, the companies refused to comply with waste management regulations. The Managing Director of Ogun State Waste Management Authority emphasized the need for companies to adhere to environmental laws to protect the state's environment.
