Olododo Initiative Supports Students in Kwara State

The Olododo Educational Initiative, sponsored by Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo, has supported hundreds of students in Ilorin East and Ilorin South Federal Constituency, Kwara State. The initiative provided school bags, exercise books, and other writing materials to students from JSS1 to SSS3.

Additionally, high-performing senior secondary school students received scholarships to cover their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) fees. The latest outreach phase occurred in Alalubosa Maraba, Sabo-Oke, and Oke-Aluko communities.

At Alalubosa Maraba LGEA Primary School, community members gathered for the distribution of materials. Ibrahim Saheed Kayode, Publicity Secretary of the Alalubosa Youth Development Association, encouraged beneficiaries to utilize the support effectively.

Alade Abdulrasheed from the Okelele Youth League praised the initiative for alleviating educational burdens on families. The program concluded in Oke-Aluko, where students like Musa Waliyat expressed gratitude for the scholarships.

Olododo, an engineer and the 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate, stated the initiative aims to support students and reduce financial pressures on low-income families.
