Olowolafe Advocates Education Revolution at Miva Open University

Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, the newly installed Pro Chancellor of Miva Open University, advocated for an education revolution and defended open learning during the university's maiden convocation ceremony in Lagos.

He argued for a radical rethinking of higher education delivery in Nigeria, emphasizing the need for quality education accessible to all, regardless of geographical, economic, or social barriers. He referenced the vision of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, who introduced free education and educational broadcasting to expand learning opportunities.
