Oluwo Bars Lawmaker Mudashiru from Palace Access

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has officially barred Mudashiru Lukman, a current member of the House of Representatives representing the Ayedire/Iwo/Olaoluwa Federal Constituency, from accessing his palace. This decision was announced in a statement shared on the monarch's official Facebook page on Friday.

The Oluwo emphasized that political office holders in the district are expected to provide updates on their activities and engage with the palace to maintain the community's heritage and traditional structures. The statement reinforced the monarch's stance on the matter, declaring that Mudashiru would no longer be allowed access to the palace due to his failure to maintain this engagement.
