Omisore Remains with APC Amid Defections, Says Famurewa

Ajibola Israel Famurewa, a two-term member of the House of Representatives representing Atakumosa East/West Federal Constituency and the current Director General of the Osun Rescu Mission Team, affirmed that Iyiola Omisore is staying with the All Progressives Congress (APC) despite recent defections from the party. Famurewa, who previously served as Omisore's campaign organizer when Governor Ademola Adeleke launched his campaign two weeks ago, stated that the defections are unrelated to Omisore.

He mentioned that the party is solid and that Omisore, a former National Secretary of the APC, is committed to the party ahead of the August 15 elections. Famurewa expressed confidence in the party's unity and dismissed concerns over the impact of defections, asserting that political dynamics will stabilize as the elections approach.
