Ondo Amotekun Parades 46 Suspects, Supports State Police

The Amotekun command in Ondo State paraded 46 suspects as part of its ongoing operations to combat crime and enhance security in the region. Adetunji Adeleye, the chairman of the South West Security Network, announced this at a press briefing held at the Amotekun headquarters in Akure.

During the briefing, he expressed support for the proposal to establish state police in Nigeria, emphasizing the need for a strong central supervisory structure to effectively coordinate and monitor state commands. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards improving security and addressing criminal activities in the country.

The Amotekun command aims to flush out criminals and ensure a safer environment for the citizens of Ondo State, aligning its efforts with discussions at the federal level regarding the establishment of state police.
