Ondo Auto Rally Scheduled for April 4, 2026

The Ondo Auto Rally is set to take place on April 4, 2026, in Ondo State, Nigeria. The event is themed "The Greatest Show on Wheels" and aims to position Ondo State as a top destination for motorsport in Nigeria.

It will feature a full day of activities, including a road race showcasing locally built race cars, highlighting Nigeria's growing automotive engineering capabilities. The rally will commence at 8:00 AM from the Governor's office in Akure, with the main race at 1:00 PM at the Smokin Hill Race Course in Ilara Mokin.

Additional activities include an off-road race, drift exhibitions, cultural displays, live performances, and a mountain biking competition. A tree planting ceremony will also be part of the event, reflecting the organizers' commitment to environmental sustainability.

Adeoy Ojukot, president of the N Plai Group, is leading the organization of the rally, which aims to provide a platform for motorsport enthusiasts, cultural lovers, and entrepreneurs.
