Ondo Auto Rally Scheduled for April 4 in Ilara-Mokin

The 2026 Ondo Auto Rally is set to take place on April 4, 2026, in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State. This event follows the success of the 2025 Lago Autofest and is themed "The Greatest Show on Wheels." It aims to highlight Nigeria's top motorsport gathering, celebrating speed, endurance, innovation, and cultural heritage while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability.

The rally will feature a blend of world-class racing and cultural experiences, including an MTB XCE cycling competition and a tree planting event. Adeoy Ojukoo, the president of the organizing group, confirmed that activities will commence at the Governor's office in Akure at 8:00 AM, with the road race headlining the event.

The rally will showcase locally built performance vehicles, emphasizing Nigeria's growing automotive engineering capabilities. The event will also include off-road races, drift exhibitions, and live performances, with participation expected from elite drivers, automotive brands, and cultural troupes, fostering collaboration across various industries.
