Ondo Indigenes in Canada Support Tunji-Ojo's Future Bid

During his visit to Canada for the Nigeria Diaspora Economic Conference from August 12 to 14, 2023, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, received commendations from Ondo State indigenes for his contributions to Nigeria's development. The conference allowed Tunji-Ojo to discuss reforms at the Federal Ministry of Interior and engage with the Nigerian community on governance and national development issues.

Following the conference, he attended a dinner reception hosted by Prince Olujimi Adekanle, CEO of Savanah News, in Brampton, which included various professionals and community leaders. Participants praised Tunji-Ojo's public service performance and encouraged him to consider running for the governorship of Ondo State.

While he did not make any political declarations, he emphasized the importance of patience and timing in political aspirations. His growing political profile is linked to the reforms implemented since his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in August 2023.
