Shaibu Inaugurates Committee for NIS One-Year Review

On the occasion of the one-year anniversary of Philip Shaibu's tenure as the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Sports, a high-powered committee was inaugurated to review the institute's achievements over the past year. The committee's objective is to assess the progress made in relation to the 10-year strategic work plan.

Shaibu emphasized the importance of evaluating the institute's performance to ensure it meets global standards. The committee is expected to critically examine the institute's accomplishments, identify milestones, and address challenges that require improvement.

The committee is chaired by Bursar Nyakno Oluokun, with Dr. Maryam Nasko as the head of administrative services and Dr.

Remu Majoroh serving as the secretary. Other members include representatives from various departments, including renowned football coach Ladan Bosso and Ben Ogbemudia.

The committee is tasked with submitting its report within a stipulated timeframe, providing a comprehensive assessment of the institute's activities and recommending improvements.
