Atiku Abubakar Faces Criticism Over ADC Crisis

Imran Wakili has publicly criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar regarding the ongoing crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He stated that only Atiku, his son Adamu Abubakar, and a few loyalists remain in the party, as many political heavyweights have left to form coalitions in Adamawa State.

Wakili pointed out that Atiku bears responsibility for the situation, especially after Aishatu Binani, a former governorship candidate, joined the NDC. Other notable exits include former Governor Jibrilla Bindow, who is consulting on his next political move, former Senator Ishaku Abbo moving to the Labour Party, and Abdulaziz Nyako joining the APC.

Wakili emphasized that Atiku's leadership has led to a significant decline in ADC's influence, warning that the party's future is bleak. Additionally, Babachir Lawal announced his resignation from ADC, citing manipulation during the party's recent primaries in favor of Atiku.
