Onoh Critiques Wike's Rainbow Coalition, Urges APC Unity

In a statement released in Abuja, Onoh condemned the "Rainbow Coalition," labeling it a deceptive political gimmick that poses a greater threat to the All Progressives Congress (APC) than to opposition candidates. He warned the party's national leadership that the coalition is a "Trojan horse" aimed at fracturing the ruling party.

Onoh stated that the coalition, promoted by Wike, is a "toxic distraction" that undermines President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's electoral prospects. He dismissed comparisons to the G5/Integrity Group alliance, asserting that the current coalition is composed of politically irrelevant figures.

Onoh also addressed Wike's conflicts with Governors AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Hope Uzodimma, suggesting these were diversionary tactics to distract from the coalition's weaknesses. He emphasized that Wike's political influence is localized and that his attempts to extend this coalition to other regions represent a significant political overreach.
