Joint Security Forces Rescue 308 Kidnapped Victims
On Wednesday, a coordinated operation by the Nigerian military, the Department of State Services (DSS), and operatives from the National Counter-Terrorism Centre (NCTC), alongside officers from the Nigeria Police and other unnamed security agencies, resulted in the rescue of 308 kidnapped victims across Kwara and Niger States. According to a security source, this operation is noted as one of the largest and most successful in recent times.
The victims included 163 individuals abducted from Woro Community in Kaiama Local Government Area (LGA) of Kwara State and 145 from Niger State. Following their rescue, the victims are currently receiving medical attention at the Military Medical Facility located in Wawa Cantonment, New Bussa LGA of Niger State.
