Obiageli Orah Inducted into Chartered Institute of Directors

Mrs. Obiageli Orah, serving as the Executive Director of Special Duties at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has been inducted as a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIoD).

Orah possesses extensive experience in the medical field and public service, having previously served as the Deputy Chairperson of Protocol in Anambra State and as a Board Director of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE). Her tenure at the NDE involved overseeing community relations projects aimed at enhancing the lives of local indigenes across Nigeria.

Orah has also gained significant international experience, having worked in the UK, and holds an MSc in Medical Ultrasound from Bournemouth University and a BSc (Hons) in Radiography & Imaging from the University of Hertfordshire. The induction ceremony, themed “The Director Mandate: Governing for Value and Resilience,” featured Prof.

Konyinsola Ajayi, who urged new directors to promote ethical leadership and ensure long-term sustainability in their governance roles.
