NCR Nigeria PLC Appoints New Non-Executive Director
NCR (Nigeria) PLC has filed a corporate action notification disclosing the appointment of Mrs. Oluwatoyin Ojora Saraki as a Non-Executive Director on its Board. NCR (Nigeria) PLC notified the Nigerian Exchange on 15 June 2026 that its Board of Directors, by written resolution dated 11 June 2026, appointed Mrs. Oluwatoyin Ojora Saraki as a Non-Executive Director, effective 11 June 2026. The appointment remains subject to ratification by shareholders at the company's next Annual General Meeting.
Mrs. Saraki is the Founder-President of The Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA) and holds over two decades of leadership experience in women's and children's health, reproductive health advocacy, and socio-economic empowerment across sub-Saharan Africa. She serves as Inaugural and Emeritus Global Goodwill Ambassador for the International Confederation of Midwives and holds advisory roles with the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa. She was appointed Inaugural Global Health Ambassador of the WHO Foundation in 2022.
At the governance level, Mrs. Saraki serves on the Board of Trustees of Seed Global Health and is a member of the Bayer Sustainability Council and the AstraZeneca Global Breast Cancer Care Council. The company's filing describes her as bringing legal expertise, international governance experience, and strategic leadership across private, public, and multilateral sectors.
