Oriental Energy Supports Education in Akwa Ibom Communities

Oriental Energy Resources Limited has been commended for its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts in host communities, particularly in Akwa Ibom State. Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi, the company's Executive Chairman and Founder, highlighted the company's contributions during a recent conference in Uyo, where he received an honorary Doctor of Business Administration degree.

The company has committed to sponsoring research programs in the Department of Geology at Akwa Ibom State University for the 2022-2024 session, enhancing research activities and knowledge advancement. Additionally, it has established a scholarship award scheme that benefits 2,000 undergraduate students from Akwa Ibom State studying at Nigerian universities.

This initiative aims to provide quality education and mentorship, reflecting the company's long-standing relationship with the local community, particularly in the Mbo Local Government Area. The awards and contributions are intended to spur community-driven service and development.
