LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Discharges Rescued Victims

LAUTECH Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso has discharged several individuals who were rescued from abduction, including eight pupils and a teacher. The discharges occurred on Thursday, with the decision based on medical certifications confirming their fitness for release.

However, two pupils diagnosed with congenital heart disease were not discharged and remain in the hospital for further treatment. A total of 44 individuals were admitted for care, and the discharges were carried out gradually.

The governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, was involved in the handover of the rescued individuals to their parents. The situation reflects ongoing concerns regarding the safety and health of individuals affected by kidnapping incidents in the region.
