ODA Hosts Election Integrity Summit for Osun 2026

The Osun Development Association (ODA) is organizing an election integrity summit scheduled for July 16, 2026, at the Aurora Event Centre in Osogbo, starting at 10:00 AM. The summit aims to promote peace and credible issue-based campaigns ahead of the August 2026 governorship election in Osun State.

Dr. Tunji Olugbodi, chairman of the ODA's leadership governance committee, is leading this non-partisan initiative to address concerns over political violence and the destruction of campaign materials.

The summit will gather various stakeholders, including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, gubernatorial candidates, political party representatives, and civil society organizations. Key documents, including the Osun 2026 Peace Charter, will be unveiled, outlining public expectations for the next administration.
