Adeleke Alleges Election Rigging Plot in Osun State

On the election day, Adeleke, the candidate of the Accord Party, cast his vote at Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, in Ede North Local Government Area, Osun State, at approximately 8:32 a.m., accompanied by numerous supporters. He raised concerns about an alleged plan to disrupt the election and prevent voters from participating, specifically mentioning a police officer identified as “London” from Port Harcourt, who he claimed was brought to Osun State to incite unrest in his hometown, Ede.

Adeleke urged the Inspector-General of Police and other security agencies to investigate this allegation and remain vigilant. He expressed that there were intentions to bypass the established electoral collation process, insisting that the rules must be followed.

Despite these concerns, Adeleke expressed confidence in his chances of winning the election, stating, “I know, by the grace of God, I’m winning this election.”.
