Adeleke Confident of Victory in Osun Governorship Election

On Saturday, Osun State Governor Adeleke voiced his confidence in winning the ongoing governorship election while emphasizing the importance of a peaceful electoral process. After casting his ballot at Polling Unit 9, Ward 2, Sagba Agbogunde, in Ede North Local Government Area at approximately 8:32 a.m., he completed the accreditation process by 8:35 a.m.

Addressing journalists post-voting, Adeleke expressed optimism about securing another term in office and encouraged eligible voters across Osun to turn out in large numbers. He urged voters to remain engaged throughout the voting process to ensure their votes count.

The governor highlighted that the election provides residents with the opportunity to choose their leader for the next four years. He also appealed for peaceful conduct and compliance with electoral regulations during voting and collation, encouraging voters to stay at their polling units to observe the proceedings as per the guidelines issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
