Osun APC Accuses Governor Adeleke of Project Bias

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of bias in the allocation of development projects, particularly favoring his hometown. The APC claims that Adeleke is disregarding a federal directive to suspend the relocation of the Osun State International Airport project.

Kola Olabisi, the APC's media director, criticized Adeleke's administration as "selfish" and lacking in development initiatives for other towns in Osun State. The APC also questioned the silence of the state House of Assembly regarding these issues.

In response, Olawal Rashe, spokesperson for Governor Adeleke, dismissed the allegations, asserting that infrastructure projects are being distributed evenly across major towns in the state. Rashe highlighted ongoing projects, including a N14 billion flyover in Ilesa, and emphasized the administration's commitment to developing a cargo and commercial airport legally.

He confirmed that the airport's status remains unchanged while the state continues to pursue development in accordance with due process.
