Osun APC Defends Ogunbiyi Against Leaked Video Allegations

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has come to the defense of Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, a senatorial aspirant for the Osun West district, following the circulation of a leaked video.

The party's spokesperson, Kola Olabisi, issued a statement on Saturday, urging members of the public to discount the video, which allegedly misrepresented Ogunbiyi's remarks about the capabilities of the party and Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration in the lead-up to the next governorship election. The APC emphasized that the video was a distortion of Ogunbiyi's speech and accused political adversaries of attempting to mislead the public.

The APC called for unity among its members and condemned the actions of those spreading the distorted video, asserting that Ogunbiyi remains a trusted and dependable leader within the party.
