Osun APC Condemns Lawmaker Salam for Criticism

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has publicly condemned lawmaker Bamidel Salam for his recent derogatory remarks about President Bola Tinubu and other party members, including Bola Oyebamiji and Wole Ok. In a statement released by the party's Director of Media, Kola Olabisi, Salam's comments, made during a television appearance, were characterized as uncharitable, ill-informed, and misleading.

The APC highlighted Salam's history of unsubstantiated statements and described his criticisms as reckless, particularly in the context of the upcoming governorship elections scheduled for August 15, 2026. The party reaffirmed its confidence in its governance strategies and the leadership of President Tinubu, contrasting his achievements with those of the current governor, Adelek.

The APC also addressed concerns regarding electoral integrity and alleged corruption, emphasizing its commitment to a transparent electoral process.
