Oyebamiji Praises Voter Turnout in Osun Election

Oyebamiji, the APC candidate, made remarks after casting his vote at Open Space Gantry, Sawmill, Ward 009, Polling Unit 011, in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area during the Osun election. He commended the significant presence of voters, electoral officials, and security personnel, stating that it demonstrated a smooth electoral process.

Oyebamiji noted, “INEC are here, the voters are here, security operatives are here; I want to commend the large turnout of voters in Ikire. It shows that people are not intimidated.” He urged security agencies to remain vigilant due to concerns about possible violence later in the day, emphasizing the need for proactive measures to ensure voter safety.

Additionally, he reacted to reports of a politician's arrest with election materials, expressing hope that the police would take appropriate action. Oyebamiji expressed confidence in his chances of winning the election, stating, “I am confident that I’d win this election at the end of the day.”.
