APC Analyzes Osun Election Results for Legal Action

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced on Sunday that it is currently studying the results of the recent governorship election across all 332 wards in the state. Chief Kola Olabisi, the party's spokesperson, stated that the leadership is exploring available constitutional avenues to address any anomalies observed during the election process.

He emphasized that an election is a comprehensive process that includes voter registration, primary elections, and potential legal recourse through the Tribunal, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court, as outlined in the Electoral Act 2026, as amended. Olabisi commended party members for their loyalty and contributions and assured them that the APC would act based on professional legal advice.

He called for calm among supporters and urged them to avoid provocative actions. Additionally, he appealed to the Nigeria Police Force for protection against alleged harassment by the ruling party, asserting that justice would ultimately prevail.
