APC Disburses N66.4m for Osun Governorship Campaign

Dr. Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), distributed N66.4 million to party members in Osun State as part of an empowerment program aimed at strengthening grassroots support ahead of the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.

During the distribution, Basiru described the initiative as a humanitarian intervention designed to improve the welfare of party members and boost their commitment to the APC. The program is intended to stabilize members economically and encourage them to work towards the party's success in the forthcoming election.

A total of 322 beneficiaries were selected across various wards in the state, each receiving N200,000. Basiru also mentioned that the empowerment program would motivate party members and strengthen their dedication to the campaign.

Additionally, he urged the APC to conduct a peaceful campaign and called on security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property during the election.
